Story
Vixemourne is finely attuned to the subtlest emotions. A lone bird adrift, the waxing and waning of the moon—any fleeting glimpse of the world may ripple through its heart. As humans know it, Vixemourne is often steeped in mourning; yet even it cannot say where the sorrow begins. Sadness seeps like nightfall, slow and inevitable, staining the heart. What it cannot admit, however, is that it does feel joy at times. But when joy comes, it hides it—because it adores the aura of mystery that sorrow lends it. This, in truth, is what troubles Vixemourne most.
