Usage

This template is used to mark templates as high-risk, a template that has a lot of uses and where technically deficient or malicious edits can affect almost every page on the wiki. Templates marked as such will be put in Category:High-Risk Templates, and modules Category:High-Risk Modules.

Syntax

{{High Risk|Template or Module name with specified namespace|pagetype = Namespace the template/module is designed for|nocat = include as "1" to disable categories}}

• pagetype — Main, Template, File, Module or Category.

This template is used primarily on pages in the Main namespace. It can be found on pages, or on about % of those pages.

Edits to this template will be widely noticed. To avoid large-scale disruption and unnecessary server load, any changes to this template should be tested in its sandbox or testcases subpages, or in your own user space. The tested changes can then be added to this page in one single edit.
