| After the Sundering, the Nexus was broken and stable connections between things were lost, severing the paired Aspects. The remaining fragments formed 81 independent universes, called Planes, now scattered across the New World and ruled over by Novarchs. The pieces also manifested as creatures of Aspect energy, referred to as Nexus Anima. Nexus Battles became the recognized method of resolving disputes across most Planes. | | After the Sundering, the Nexus was broken and stable connections between things were lost.
