The Sovereigns were the owners of the Aspects of the Old World. They were rulers of the mortal world, wielding power and authority. After the Sundering, some became the Novarchs of the new world.<ref>Honkai: Nexus Anima. Official Website. According to Breadhead, only a few Sovereigns were able to seize an Aspect in the instant after the Sundering struck the world, while many more lost their authority over Aspects altogether.
