Story

With a sweep of its wings, Plumelune can "Gustcall"—at least, that's the name humans gave it, a name as beautiful as the winds it stirs. In truth, studies suggest that at first, Plumelune never cared about the posture or strength of its wingbeats. Yet ever since humans coined the word "Gustcall," it has‐without grasping the meaning—subtly begun to weigh the power of each gust against the elegance of its stance. It observes, carefully, how humans praise or critique different strengths of wind in different seasons. Plumelune has, it seems, developed the delicate burdens of an idol.
