Planes are independent universes formed by the shattered fragments of the Aspects of the Old World.
There are a total of 81 Planes, all corresponding to an Aspect of the New World. Each has a ruling Novarch, who also serves as the owner of that Plane's Aspect.[1]
Lore
The Sundering severed the connections between the Aspects, causing the world to collapse and break apart into pieces. These fragments formed 81 independent universes, which came to be known as "Planes."[1]
