Nexus refers to the fundamental connections between all things.[1]
History
There was once a time when nothing existed in true isolation, independent of outside influence. It was the Nexus that connected everything together, and these links were called Nexus threads.
After the Sundering, the Nexus was broken, and stable connections between things were lost.[1]
