Story
Mimoo spends considerable time adjusting the ratio of black to white on its hide — a victim of appearance anxiety. It conducted field research on store shelves, compiling statistics: it vaguely realized that "appearance" affects how often humans select certain milk cartons, so aesthetics must be more or less linked directly to popularity. After all, less-favored fellows gradually vanished from the shelves entirely. Lately, it's been pondering a new problem: Why do I keep looking more and more like my fellows on the shelf?
