Story
Keeping the right distance is a tricky part of human socializing, and truth be told, Mesmerith aren't much better at it. People are often drawn to their cute, compact forms, chasing after them in the wild. To a Mesmerith, it's all just a fun game. But when someone gets too close, or tries to scoop one up, anxiety sets in. Instinctively, it tries to calm the other party down only, it tends to overdo it. Only then does it realize, with some guilt, that humans, for all their size, really aren't that frightening.
