The Loading Screen appears when the player enters the game, as well as when transitioning to any location that is a separate scene, such as areas displayed on the map or after a Nexus Battle. Information about characters, lore, and gameplay elements often appears at the bottom of the screen.
General
- Anima Level: The strength of an Anima depends on your own mastery over the Aspects, and their level will always be the same as your own.
- Aspects: The basic laws and concepts that serve as the foundation of the world.
- Aspects: Magic: A mysterious power based on Aspects. The Sovereigns and Novarchs who control the Aspects, as well as Nexus Anima, who are connected to the Aspects, con use it. Other than these, ordinary people who use Aspect magic are known as mages.
- Aspects: Past and Present: The Aspects of the Old World were paired, such as Light and Dark, Life and Death, and Love and Hate. After the Sundering, the Nexus connecting the Aspects was severed, and they became independent existences.
- Infinite Vortex: The threads of possibility often become entangled, forming a vortex-like state spinning with uncertainty. With the power of the Sovereign Apeiron, you can dive deep within, and anchor a possibility into reality.
- Kardia: Those tied to you by the Nexus form Kardia in your heart. With the power of Change, you can embody them and wield their special abilities.
- Mages: Though they are not the masters of the Aspects, they use magic by sacrificing Anima. The Nexus Association largely considers mages' behavior cruel and evil. In some Planes that are aligned with Anima, they are particularly loathed.
- Nexus Anima: Energy lifeforms born from the broken Nexus. Their forms and natures vary, shaped by the Aspects tied to their origin
- Nexus: The connections between all things.
- Obliviosis: A disease that causes memory loss. It appeared after the death of Darsea, the Sovereign of Memory and Oblivion.
- Planes: The Sundering severed the connections between the Aspects, causing the world to collapse and break apart into pieces, and the fragments were rebuilt into 81 independent universes. These universes are called "Planes.
- Semiplane: When initiating a Nexus Battle, the Aspect Energy of both sides Anima creates a tiny, temporary Plane, which dissipates after the duel.
- Sovereigns: Sovereigns were the masters of the Old World, the administrators of the laws, those who held authority and power over the mortal realm. After the Sundering and the shattering of the Nexus, the Sovereigns lost their control over the Aspects in an instant. Some of them became Novarchs, others vanished, and others still sorrowfully wander the realms.
- The Grand Championship: A Nexus Battle tournament organized by the Novarch of Competition, Sir Champion, Legends say that the victor con claim the throne of Novarch.
- The Sundering: The event that broke apart the Aspects, and reconstructed the world as 81 different Plates. The reason for it is unknown. It is also known as the Sundering of the World, or the "Great Shattering.
