===Collaboration is key===
Wikis are based on the idea that the crowd, collectively, has a greater sum of knowledge than just one individual. That means collaborating with others is the key to creating a successful community. Collaboration means you work together to build, design, and make decisions. No one person owns or rules a community site. Rather, it is built, supported, and owned by all participating community members.

===Practice open-mindedness & assume good faith===
Since sites are open for anyone to edit, users of all skill levels and opinions are welcome to participate. We assume that most people who work on a wiki are trying to help it, not hurt it. If this were not true, a project would be doomed from the beginning. If you think there is a problem, it is best to ask the user about the issue first and then take any additional steps if necessary.

User pages are allowed to have custom images and videos uploaded to them, but please note that the community rules, such as those regarding inappropriate content, are still enforced on user pages.

The following list contains all content that is considered leaked, and therefore prohibited:

Speculation should only be substantiated with evidence that is based from the currently available content. Users should not base their speculations from previous leaks, or from "rumors" surrounding leaks. If one does not support their opinions or theories with evidence based from available content, the post is subject to deletion, and the user may be warned.

===Vandalism===
Any form of vandalism is not welcome on the Wiki. This includes:

===Editing Conflicts===
If you do not agree with a certain edit being made to a page, you are allowed to undo the edit and provide reasonable refute as to why that edit should not be implemented. If the undone edits are reverted, please contact the user through the Message Wall Talk Pages, or through the wiki's Discord to discuss the edited page in question in an attempt to resolve this issue. Please do not engage in edit wars. More editors can be involved in the discussion to achieve consensus if necessary. Repeated overriding each other's edits is considered edit warring and not allowed, even if accompanied by edit summaries. In the event of a counter-productive edit war, the page may be temporarily locked, and the users involved may be warned. If a user is not complying with open-minded discussion, please contact a Content Moderator to have this issue resolved.

===Disruptive Editing===
{{w|Wikipedia:Disruptive editing|Disruptive editing}} is a pattern of editing that disrupts progress towards the project and community's goal, which the editor in question may or may not be aware of. There may be multiple reasons for disruptive behavior: editors may not know that their edits are counter-productive, they do not have sufficient social skills to communicate effectively with other editors, or they do not have the {{w|Wikipedia:Competence is required|competence necessary}} to work collaboratively.

Despite their sincere effort to help, their pattern of editing is ultimately harmful to the project. It undermines the wiki's goal to be a reliable source of information for ''Honkai: Nexus Anima'', and it exhausts the patience of rule-abiding, productive editors, who often have to spend time cleaning up after disruptive editors.

Examples of disruptive editing:
* Edit warring
* Repeated mistakes despite advice or instruction
* Rejecting or ignoring community input
* Disregarding community consensus
* Consistent pattern of incivility
* Perpetuating a dispute despite consensus

===Deviation from in-game text===
Grammar and spelling errors in transcriptions of official ''Honkai: Nexus Anima'' material should not be corrected, but rather highlighted using the {{t|sic}} template. Erroneous translations should also be noted using a reference note or added to the Trivia section if they impact understanding of the game's gameplay or lore. The Wiki will be updated after HoYoverse (miHoYo) corrects the localization errors.

===Citation and Plagiarism===
Please follow citation practices and cite content and the authors properly if you are bringing content to Fandom or taking it from here to another site. Make sure you have permission to use something before you copy it, and follow the rules for attribution when you do reuse. Everyone likes credit for their hard work!

===Minor edits===
A check to the minor edit box signifies that only superficial differences exist between the current and previous versions. Examples include typographical corrections, corrections of minor formatting errors, and reversion of obvious vandalism. A minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute.
By contrast, a major edit should be reviewed for its acceptability by all concerned editors. Any change that affects the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it concerns a single word. A good rule of thumb is that only edits consisting solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of the content may be flagged as minor edits. Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette, especially if the change involves the deletion of some text.
Consequently, if you are in doubt about whether an edit is minor or not, it is ''always'' safer ''not'' to mark it as minor. Posts that express disagreements of a user are allowed; posts that berate or insult a user in said disagreement is strictly prohibited. 

Please refrain from using profanity on the site. If your post or comment is found to have used an unnecessary amount of profanity, the post or comment in question is subject to modification or deletion, and the user will be warned.

If someone is making disrespectful comments towards you or other users, please use the report function, and one of the [[Honkai Nexus Anima Wiki:Wiki Staff|Content or Thread Moderators]] will take a look at the offending post. Engaging in flame wars with other users is highly discouraged and will likely result in the involved users receiving a warning if you are found participating in the toxicity. Do not make posts personal or post personal information. Wikis are meant to be a place to collaborate with others on topics that excite you. Pages meant just as an attack on someone will be removed. ** Please include proper reasonings with your Tier List if applicable, otherwise your post may be deleted to prevent an influx of individual Tier List posts that don't add any room for discussion, and only serve to clutter the discussions section
* Repetitive threads that may or may not be following a post trend (e.g., threads made in response to another thread)
* Repetitive threads that are made to "simp" or thirst for a character
* Low-effort threads in which relevance is established through low-effort insertion (e.g., "real life what if scenarios")
* Any thread that provokes off-topic discussion or is focused around another topic that has no relations to ''Honkai: Nexus Anima'' (e.g., "what if 'X' character was in 'X' movie"; "here's 'X' character as [off-topic subject]"; "'X' character VS Goku")

Similar to how off-topic posts are handled, the moderation team will review each post on a case-by-case basis, and we may allow for some leniency in the handling of these posts, provided the posts have good interest to the community. 

===AI-Generated Content===
Content that was artificially generated through a prompt or through a service and is screenshotted or uploaded here (e.g. character.ai models of HNA characters, artificially generated images) are not allowed everywhere in the wiki. Artificially generated content will be deleted in order to maintain a standard of quality within the discussions section by reducing the large influx of redundant screenshots and posts containing content that is generated from AI services.<br />
AI-generated content such as Chat GPT screenshots, AI art generators (such as DALL-E or Bing), AI chatbots, etc. are not allowed. Posts generated by these tools aren't really about ''Honkai: Nexus Anima''. It's about the absurdity of the content and superimposing ''Honkai: Nexus Anima'' characters in it, no matter how well it's made.

===Inappropriate Content===
Pornographic content, Not Safe for Work (NSFW) content, the sexualization of ''Honkai: Nexus Anima'' characters, or any form of inappropriate content is '''not welcome''' on the Wiki. Inappropriate content is defined as content that is obscene, pornographic, abusive, or offensive. The judgment that defines a thread or post as inappropriate is reserved to the discretion of administrators and moderators. Please do not solicit or allude to inappropriate content. Below will be a non-exhaustive list that include examples of what we commonly consider inappropriate content:
* content that portrays characters in an inappropriate or not safe for work manner
* content that contains hate speech, such as racism, sexism, or content that is overtly offensive
* content that contains shocking content, such as gore or is gory in nature
* content that contains an excessive or unnecessary amount of profanities
* content that contains photo epileptic or excessively loud and distorted audio
* content that contains or includes links or downloads to malware or malicious code
* content that aims to exploit and deceive other users on the site, such as scams

Users that are found to be posting borderline inappropriate content are subject to be immediately blocked without appeal.

"Thirst" comments, kissing and barking, and any comments that entail any sort of sexual acts towards the characters are strictly prohibited. The following list includes, but is not limited to, comments that infringe on these rules:
* "Please step on me"
* "Nice boobs/booba/thighs"
* "THICCCC"
* "you find as he'll, i won't you"
* nonsensical comments (gibberish, spam)
Otherwise, any other comments that compliment a character's appearance in a non-sexual and appropriate manner are allowed.

===Shipping===
The act of "{{W|Shipping_(fandom)|Shipping}}" is discouraged on this wiki. If you want to share your head canon between two characters, please refer yourself to the [[w:c:shipping|Shipping Wiki]] where it is more thematically appropriate.
This rule applies to all kinds of pairings, including but not limited to "Canon x Canon", "Canon x OC", "OC x OC", and "Canon X Non-HNA Canon Characters".

===Personal Information===
Threads and posts that solicit account sharing or selling of your ''Honkai: Nexus Anima'' account are strictly prohibited. This includes any comments or posts that may severely jeopardize the confidentiality of an account or a user, such as an e-mail or a password. In addition, any comments or posts that otherwise include personally identifiable information is strictly prohibited.

Users are strictly prohibited to ask other users for personal information, such as their address or age. Likewise, users should not share or post details about their personal information to other users on the site such as:
* Face reveal and full body reveal (with the exception of cosplaying, do so at your own risk)
* Room reveal with sensitive information visible (such as your name on the wall, a photo of your family, etc)
* Sharing your email or game login information
* Full legal name reveal (nicknames are allowed)
Please practice online safety, especially if you are a minor, because users of all ages are able to visit this wiki and are able to see everything you post. This includes sharing sensitive information in Message Walls. Message Walls are public, NOT private, so everyone is able to see what you post on them.

===Language===
This Wiki is primarily intended for use with the English language, and as such, posts or comments that are not in English will be deleted. Please use our regional navigation located above the "Share" button on the top right of the page to switch to your respective language if you wish to contribute in your native language!
For this same reason, English proficiency is required in order to edit pages. ===User Drama===
The discussion and mention of banned users within the community, or "drama" within the ''Honkai: Nexus Anima'' Fandom is strictly prohibited. Users that provoke or instigate drama will not be tolerated. Any comments or posts that are specifically made to gossip about ''Honkai: Nexus Anima'' content creators, influencers, Twitter users and other Fandom communities are not allowed. 

===Impersonation and Mini-Modding===
The impersonation of other users or famous people will not be tolerated. Mini-modding, also known as backseat moderating, is also not allowed, including but not limited to giving out Notice/Warning/Block messages on behalf of the Moderators or acting like Wiki Staff without the authority to do so; it is considered wiki staff impersonation and is likewise prohibited. Please leave any problems to the Wiki Staff, and use the report function instead of mini-modding.

If you have been banned and return to a new account, your posts will be deleted and your new account(s) will be banned.

===Spam and Trolling===
Wikis are a great place to build content on a specific topic, not a place to spam links to your latest product or to post non-relevant material. Spam will be removed, so please don't add it to begin with. Users are allowed to post ''Honkai: Nexus Anima'' related videos on the comment page, provided these videos are not spammed throughout various pages.

Examples of spamming include, but are not limited to the following:
* Excessive repetition of a given line or sentence nd "rituals" (e.g., "manifesting cassio rollex 😀 manifesting cassio rollex 😀 manifesting cassio rollex 😀 manifesting cassio rollex 😀")
* Flooding of a comment section or the discussion section (holding down enter and causing people to scroll down past blank lines)
* Intentionally creating blank posts
* Excessive emoji spam or nonsensical emoji spam
* Excessive self-promotion of user-generated content (e.g., spamming Discord server links, spamming links or videos in unrelated sections of the site)
* Low-effort comments that contain gibberish in them or only contain an image/meme
* Low-effort image spam of errors about wiki thumbnails on pages
* ASCII spam
* Copypasta

In addition to regular forms of spam, comments that specifically berate a certain character throughout various pages are not allowed. Users are allowed to express distaste over a character, but are not allowed to spam the same type of message repeatedly on different pages (e.g. "[Character] sucks so much, I'm really glad I pulled this character over [Character]." in conjunction with "Man, [Character] fans simp for this character so much. They're simply overrated, there are so much better units than [Character]."). Accounts that exist solely to post negative comments for the sole purpose of inciting angry responses will be seen no different than accounts that engage in spamming and trolling.

Notice, Warning, and Block messages are issued at the Wiki Staff's discretion. Users that have been found to have broken these rules will receive a warning issued onto their Message Wall for breaking the rules. In some instances, a user will be immediately blocked depending on the severity of the rule they have broken. Blocks will be placed for users who are found to have ignored warnings issued to them as well as users who are otherwise being disruptive and problematic to the site and its users.

If a user returns from a block and they are found to be violating any of the rules written here again, there will be a zero tolerance policy set in place, and repeated infractions may result in longer block suspensions, or in more problematic cases, an immediate suspension without a chance of appeal. As a result, the duration of account suspensions will vary on a case-by-case basis. However, it should be made apparent that continued infractions will proportionately influence the length of a user's suspension, with more infractions resulting in a longer suspension.

===Removing Notice, Warning, and Block Messages===
Deleting any Warning or Notice issued by Wiki Staff is strictly prohibited for any reason. It is considered as disregarding a Warning/Notice. You will get another warning for it and continuous acts will result in a block. Attempting to delete warnings issued on message walls will not work as a method to bypass or hide infractions, as Administrators and Moderators are able to see deleted messages and comments.

Please note that warnings are not personal attacks and should not be taken personally &mdash; they are meant to notify or deal with a user after they have broken a rule, as well as providing a means for Administrators and Moderators to keep a record of a user's infractions.
===Circumventing Blocks===
Users should not create additional accounts in order to circumvent blocks issued locally or globally on FANDOM. Accounts that have been suspected to be ban-evading will be met with an immediate suspension.

===Underaged Users===
If a user is suspected or found to be under the age of 13, their account will be globally blocked by FANDOM out of precautionary measures in regards to the FANDOM Terms of Use.
