* Story was updated:
** {{Color|Old:}} "Contrary to its fragile appearance, Heartcease possesses great strength, able to survive alone in the harshest of climates. Yet it cannot unravel the mystery of "Love": forever caught between steps of advance and retreat, hesitating between honesty and restraint, stumbling over the rhythms of Change. It fears that too fierce a passion might make another falter. It fears that, once it has known the heartbeat and breath of a beloved, it will never again endure the wilderness of solitude. It fears that love, once cherished, might one day curdle into Hate. Heartcease worries that in this dance called "Love," it has already lost the beat-though the electrocardiogram etched across its chest surges wildly. If you hope to lead Heartcease out of the wilderness, you may need to offer it a love it never expected... for it has always been waiting, hoping to see the hint of a mast rising at the edge of the barren horizon."
** {{Color|New:}} "Don't be fooled by its delicate exterior. Heartcease can brave any wilderness on its own. The landscape of the heart, however, is another story. Love is a puzzle it can't solve, leaving it to second-guess every step. It's scared of scaring someone off with its fiery affection, but even more scared that once it feels a real connection, being alone again will completely break it. It's so worried about messing up the "dance of love" that it's practically frozen. The only hope to reach it... is a love that breaks the pattern, a love that arrives like an unforeseen ship, promising passage from the wilderness of its own heart."
