Story
Corvariatio is something of a role model for many adolescent boys. With its fashionable hat, its dashing plumage, and its elusive moods and expressions, it radiates an aura they find irresistibly "mature." Though Corvariatio doesn't care for crowds, boys chase after it relentlessly, eager to imitate its charm. Strangely, however, once they grow out of adolescence, they abandon the mimicry. For Corvariatio, this comes as a relief—though it doesn't quite understand why. Perhaps the boys never grasped the true essence of this so-called "maturity": the confidence and courage to hold another's gaze for longer than a fleeting moment.
