Bai Mei is the Novarch of Reality. The Material Lip has a distinctive Novarch system in which the position is selected in rotation from the rulers of the Plane's nine continents, each serving a five-year term. The current Novarch, Bai Mei, hails from the Fuyu Continent.
Outside of Karkacia, Bai Mei is widely celebrated and regarded as the "shining star" of the Plane of Reality.

Among the eighty-one planes, the Reality Plane has a particularly distinctive Novarch system. The Novarch of the Material Lip is chosen in rotation from the rulers of its nine continents, each serving a five-year term. The current Reality Novarch is Bai Mei of the Fuyu Continent.
Outside of Karkacia, Bai Mei enjoys immense popularity as a shining star of the Reality Plane.
